| Growth regulators: | Depending on the plant development, it is recommended to inhibit their growth by applying 0.1 to 0.2 % Cycocel 720, too high a concentration may lead to chlorosis at the leaf edges which, however, will disappear after some time. |
| Pinching: | All peltatum varieties of the Ville/Decora and Happy Face® series should be pinched off once approx. 2 weeks after potting; our zonals do not require this treatment |
| Diseases and pest: | Botrytis, rust, plant lice. |
| Water balance is of importance; the plants must not stand too wet, danger of botrytis, damage to roots and irregular plant build-up are the consequences. | |
